It's been a very windy night here, and its still continuing today, the trees are dropping twigs every where. But there's a lovely sunshine to make up for it. I've done a sereis of encaustic works on paper this week and as soon as the sun moves round I'm hoping to photo them so I can add them to my websites. These will be inexpensive, encaustics dry very quickly and these are simply single layer works not the multi layered ones I do on wood and canvas, so don't take long to complete and therefore I will be selling what are original works of art at very reasonable prices. A4 works on cream mount and back, to give a total size of 11 x 14 inches, and will be selling for £25 plus £5 post and packaging. A bargain I think : ) . I try to price my works according to the time spent on them and the cost of materials used and though the waxes can be expensive for certain colours these single layer works don't take up too much wax so I pass on the saving to my customers. No Rip Off Britain here, thats one thing that really makes me cross!
