The opening will take place from 6.30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday 22 August by invitation The exhibition will be open to the general public on Saturday 23rd from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sunday 24th from 12.30 until 4 p.m in the Church House, Kippen Parish Church (just beyond The Inn at Kippen Restaurant) If you would like an invitation to the opening please contact me through contact section above.
Aims of the Exhibition and Sale The 2008 exhibition and sale is intended to raise funds for
(1) Marie Curie Cancer Care and
(2) improved access to the Church by the disabled.
The stained glass windows are much more secure as a result of the proceeds of the Art Shows in 1999 and 2001. The 2004 event benefited Christian Aid and provided the church with audio-visual equipment. The 2006 event provided improved disabled access to the church and contributed to Macmillan Cancer Care.
The Church is greatly enhanced by its works of art in a variety of media.
Other artists include Marion Drummond, Greer Ralston, Dronma, Rowena Laing, Sharon Mitchell, Derek and Lorne Green to name but a few. A great opportunity to purchase a new artwork from from a selection by many established and emerging artists.
