A giant page out a colouring book, coloured in with acrylics by mouth. This painting was part of an exercise initially inspired by how my Mum, as a young girl, was obsessed with keeping within the lines in her colouring book. The idea for this also developed as I was looking into how things restrict people and found that those who were physically disabled could successfully paint using their mouth or their toes, such as Alison Lapper. Therefore I decided to see for myself how hard it was to do as they did. And as you can see..It is HARD!
