About this Artwork

Controversial, perhaps in both content and appearance, this painting is my interpretation of how real issues are often overshadowed by stories in favour of celebrity and political properganda. It is also a critical outlook on the way in which the media portrays these, so called role models to young children and adults alike, often leading to negative results. For example, the ongoing issue of super slim celebs and the possibility of young girls starving themselves because they believe this is how they should be. Acrylic and Newspaper on stretched, treated canvas.
