This piece is from a series I am working on where I am painting directly from my mind without looking a lot at what a cat really looks like. By doing this I am able to create more of a cartoon image and it gives the cat a human character. Some pieces work out really well, some are flops. Sometimes you have to make a whole lot of something to figure out when it is good.
