Mixed Media.
I have a passion for flowers and gardening and this is reflected in my vibrant colours, shapes and textures. I grow many plants myself and get enticed to capture their unique qualities. For this I use a surfeit of water and exploit colours to the full, taking risks, experimenting and pushing juicy colour to the limits with large fluid transparent washes combined with delicate line work and thick impasto effects.
